Culminating Blog Reflection.

            I used critical thinking for my capstone project to solve some problems that i experience during my capstone project. i was able to learn how to communicate in a professional way and use proper language when taking to some elders and i also needed more of my creativity side to make my power point that made me work more harder that ever. i realize that planning my schedules and prioritizing the most important things that i need to do and to finish my deadlines on time.
            I gain from doing my capstone project was, i learned how to take blood pressure from some patient. i also gain some confidence while doing this project that made my practice presentation successful. i realize not to procrastinate and pass things on time. i practiced my planing skills and management my time wisely while doing my capstone project.
            I experience a lot of  challenges and obstacles during my capstone project. one of the challenges i experience was getting trust from my patient. because they knew that i am still in training and sometimes they are not sure whether they would believe what i said or not. i learned how to overcome my challenge by making sure to believe on my self first to gain their trust. i realize that if i make sure i knew what im doing they will be convince on what i said. another obstacles was procrastination, i was too busy from school, night school and work that sometimes i forgot to finish my papers on time that makes me procrastinate but i learned that prioritizing my plans makes my schedule organize.

Today is my final meeting with my mentor. she went over some information on how to take blood pressure on kids and how it was different for adult people and also gave some advice to be confident on taking blood pressure.

Today i meet my mentor to discuss some medical terminology that confused me. we also went over and review how to take blood pressure. we meet at 4 pm and 6 pm.

updating my mentor hours i made some hours today learning to do an actual assessment we meet around 1pm and finish around 5;30 pm now i accumulated 4;30 hours.

 today I went with my mentor in her school just to showed her with her study. I learn how nursing student study. it looks really hard and a really fast face studying. I started 7:30 am and finish 11 am, I made 3:30 hours.

Accumulated  my 2 hours for today. my mentor toured me in there simulation lab. I saw some mannequins where they practice iv insertion and iv tubing management. The lab also had some oxygen tanks and a lots of wound dressing. now im currently finishing my final draft.

now i completed 3 hours. I meet my mentor today to do another study session about pressure ulcer. i learned what are the causes of the pressure ulcer and what are some preventive measure. we started the study session at 4 pm and ended 7 pm, .

today I meet my mentor ad watch her took vital sign to one student. I learned how to communicate with the patient and how they take some ones blood pressure. I accumulated 2 hours, this is a total of 9 hours .

today im finishing my teacher draft. but this past week i havent had a apppointment with my mentor. but i already have 7 hours by meeting her on the other week, we talk about my project and i ask about some importance of vital signs and talk about how different age affect vital sign.

today we meet  4 pm to 7 pm.. today I was invited to a study session with my mentor and the sophomore nursing student in witch we talk about different vital sign value per age group. she also went over the different factors that could alter the result of the vital sign.

we started at 4pm and ended at 6pm. today i am current finishing my research paper. I meet my mentor earlier I shadowed her and I got familiarize with some of the equipment and I learn how to use the blood pressure cup manually.

we met at 4 pm and ended our meeting at 6 pm .im meet my mentor yesterday after school. she help me to narrow up my thesis and to know more about my topic. she also help to look for some books to use for my project.  I learn more about my topic and understand some important things about my paper.

research practice

the fiscal cliff is all about the sharp decline in the budget of the government that was expected to happen in the 2013 because of the increase in taxes and lowering spending that was required by the previous laws that were passed. The out come of the fiscal cliff was clearly shows that most laws that was passed less benefits more people. some of these where laws that help them beneficially. but because of the issues in the fiscal cliff most of these laws expired last December of 2012. some of these las may have help the government to reduce there expenses but those laws that where passed where those laws that help some of our community to survive. most of the laws that were not passed were ones that don't benefit the gov.

i conducted my research by using google and some of the things how you can find a good source. i was also looking the source information and if its a reliable source for my research.
